About Richard Lahuis

I'm Richard Lahuis, a photographer originally from the Netherlands, now based in Hamburg.

From as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to capturing the moments that move me. Photography was the natural medium for this. I was fascinated with cameras from a very early age, but what kept me going was something simpler: being able to return to what I felt.

Reading people comes naturally to me. I pay attention to who you are, so I can help your presence come through. My approach is flexible. I guide when needed, step back when the moment speaks for itself. 

I believe that beauty, in all its forms, can unite us. This belief fuels my work: I want to create images that feel authentic, deep, and connecting.
